Pisces, an incredible universe

1. Hello! tell me about yourself and your background

I don't really have an interesting background.

After the baccalaureate I went to college of philosophy, to then reorient myself in visual communication, because I had the impression that I would find a way to make my dreamy side useful, which I saw as a burden. I will be quite disappointed with the medium very quickly.

While I end up getting interested in the fashion world, I start photography, just because I saw it as a "quick" way to be able to explain an idea and it will ultimately become my main means of communication.

2. Show us your universe, your creative touch!

I wouldn't know what to answer for my "creative paw".

For the universe, defining it is quite complicated, since it is constantly renewed or enriched through encounters, events or even readings.

But it is certain that themes repeat themselves over and over again, particularly the idea of bliss, or introspection.

I don't think I have a happy universe, but I wouldn't define it as sad either, just mysterious, which often goes hand in hand with a dark side. Although lately I've been exploring new ways to get those same ideas that have dark ideas rooted across, without resorting to that habit of doing something aesthetically dark.

To literally convey a message, from shadow to light.

3. What is art for you?

Very personally for me, art is the echo of emotions that are difficult to be heard, and that we constantly try to recreate in order to be able to clearly identify the message that has been timidly shared.

It's giving life to an emotion that so soon can be extinguished in peace when it finds itself materialized.

It is the events that we would have liked to live that we let go in peace, by building them a coffin on which we can repent.

It is the means, finally, to be able to see oneself, to realize and draw the being that one is. Art is above all for me a mirror.

Often the artist does not discover himself there until the work is finished.

4. What is the work that has marked you the most and why?

I would like to have an anecdote to share, where as if struck down by a work, my life suddenly took another direction.

But unfortunately I don't have that kind of stories to tell haha

I have been marked by many works which each in their own way have contributed to who I am. But it would take a whole book to tell them.

5. What is your support or tool for working? tell me a bit about him.

An Olympus OM-D EM1 and my way too old Macbook Pro.

I know I should switch cameras, but I love my Olympus. It's compact, practical to follow you everywhere, has a nice old school design and does its job well equipped with good lenses of course, for my part I have a preference for fixed focal lengths.

6. What would you like people who read this article to discover (software/site/exhibition)?

My friends will laugh about it, but the psychoanalyst CG Jung.

7. When you create, what do you listen to?

90% of the time from classical or symphonic compositions.

I avoid listening to songs that contain vocals, so as not to be influenced.

When I was young I used to listen to Japanese songs of which I understood absolutely nothing, to imagine and write the lyrics that the music inspired me. As I grew up I realized that I had a habit, even in English songs, of not paying attention to the lyrics so that I could more easily re-write my story on the music.

8. Who would you like us to introduce next?

It's a question to turn into enemies the close artists that I would not have mentioned that.

Otman Salil , because I'm sure he will be able to answer certain questions with a lot of poetry.
